Aquatech Buff & Cut Compound is built for the serious work: heavy oxidation, deep scratches, and chalky, faded gelcoat that won't come back with ordinary polish. The water-soluble formula stays active longer than traditional compounds when used with a mist spray, giving you real working time at machine-buffing speeds. Used correctly, it brings neglected hulls back to life.

What it does

  • Removes heavy oxidation, chalking, and deep surface scratches from gelcoat and paint

  • Water-soluble formula extends buffing time when used with a mist spray

  • Restores clarity and smoothness to neglected marine surfaces

  • Designed for machine buffing at 2,200–2,500 RPM with a wool or foam cutting pad

  • Compatible with OEM mold surfaces for production and prep work

  • Pairs with Ultra High Gloss Polish for a full cut-polish-finish sequence

  • For light oxidation only, skip this and start with Polishing Compound

  • Water-soluble — cleans up with soap and water

  • Always test on an inconspicuous area first
